Pep Guardiola might not think Man City's draw was funny… but a lot of other people think so
Man City don't have a lot of luck when it comes to Champions League draws.
As V. Kompany and his colleagues will (repeatedly) tell you, City have constantly found themselves up against top class sides in Europe's biggest competition. Top sides like Barcelona - a team they have played four times in recent years (and been beaten by four times).
So, with Barcelona legend Pep Guardiola now in charge, there was only one way the draw for the 2016/17 group stages was going to go.
Yep, City will once again face Barcelona. Placed in Group C with Barca, Borussia Monchengladbach AND Celtic, they find themselves in the group of death. AGAIN.
And the Twitter reaction was outstanding…
The clash with Barcelona has got some people VERY excited
