Gabriel has given Arsenal a fitness boost by revealing his injury is not as bad as first feared.
The Brazilian defender was taken off on a stretcher during the Gunners' 3-2 win over Manchester City on Sunday, and it was suspected he may have suffered ankle ligament damage.
With Per Mertesacker already ruled out until mid-December with a knee injury, Arsene Wenger admitted he was desperate to sign another centre-half.
But Gabriel has suggested he will be back sooner than initially thought.
The 25-year-old posted a message online, saying: "Today I feel much better, [it] is not a big problem. [I] thank my fans."
